Welcome to our website!

A regional non-profit organization of teachers who teach by the Suzuki approach to instrumental music education. 
 
GPSA promotes the principles of the Suzuki Method, and acts as a resource for parents and teachers.
 

We hope to develop people with a good heart, through a positive enviromnent of music learning.

Teacher Search:
If you are searching for a Suzuki teacher, all of our members are also members of the Suzuki Association of the Americas.  Teachers with studio openings will be listed there.

About GPSA:
GPSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
 
We offer out members:
 
Educational workshops for teachers, students, and parents, playathons, area-wide and graduation recitals,
 
Scholarships for Teacher Development, and Student Summer Institute scholarships
 
A teacher directory, and a video loaning library
 
Membership is open to teachers, which includes their students and parents. 
 
The GPSA region includes Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, west as far as West Chester PA and Wilmington DE, north to Bethlehem, east to Princeton NJ, and south to New Jersey cities bordering Philadelphia.
 
In October 2005 GPSA became the 7th official affiliate chapter of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, which greatly broadens its connections throughout the Western Hemisphere.
