About GPSA:
GPSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We offer out members:
Educational workshops for teachers, students, and parents, playathons,
area-wide and graduation recitals,
Scholarships for Teacher Development, and Student Summer Institute
scholarships
A teacher directory, and a video loaning library
Membership is open to teachers, which includes their students
and parents.
The GPSA region includes Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, west
as far as West Chester PA and Wilmington DE, north to Bethlehem, east to Princeton NJ, and south to New Jersey cities bordering
Philadelphia.
In October 2005 GPSA became the 7th official affiliate
chapter of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, which greatly broadens its connections throughout the Western Hemisphere.
